Gin Collection

One collection. Distinct personalities.

A self-initiated brand and packaging exploration for a fictional gin collection, connecting label design with cinematic 3D presentation.

01 / THE IDEA

Build a family of products that belongs together while giving each variant its own character. The challenge is in the balance: enough consistency to recognise the collection, enough difference to choose a favourite.

02 / THE IDENTITY

The design process explored label composition, typography, colour, and decorative detail. Each variation shares a clear hierarchy, with its own accent and visual rhythm. The system was refined across multiple layouts before moving into presentation.

03 / INTO THREE DIMENSIONS

I developed bottle scenes and render setups in Blender, testing light, materials, framing, and reflections. Close-up studies reveal the label work; wider compositions establish the atmosphere of the collection.

04 / THE WORKFLOW

Concept direction, vector artwork, packaging layouts, scene building, material development, lighting, and final output formed one connected process. Working across Affinity and Blender made it possible to refine the graphic design and its presentation together.

THE DETAIL THAT MATTERS

A convincing product image depends on the small things: the edge of a label, a controlled highlight, and the balance between the bottle and its background.

Project type: independent packaging concept for a fictional brand. The new portfolio cover is an AI-assisted concept visualisation; the original project includes my own label designs and Blender renders.
