Woodfill Vase

Digital precision. A warmer object.

A woodfill 3D-printing study exploring how natural colour, surface texture, and sculptural form can bring warmth to an interior.

01 / THE IDEA

Explore decorative vessels that feel considered as objects, whether displayed alone or grouped together. The focus is on proportion, rhythm, and the way light moves over a textured surface.

02 / FORM AND MATERIAL

Soft curves and repeated ribs create a conversation between organic shapes and a digital production process. Wood-toned material gives the forms a quiet, tactile character.

03 / WORKFLOW STUDY

The project brings together form exploration in Blender, print preparation in Bambu Studio, and visual presentation. A useful development loop moves from silhouette to dimensions, then from a small physical test to the next refinement.

04 / THE PRESENTATION

The concept arrangement explores a family of related shapes at different heights. A dark setting and warm side light make the surface detail easier to read while keeping the objects at the centre of the composition.

THE DETAIL THAT MATTERS

Layer texture can become part of an object's character. The aim is to make the production method feel intentional.

Presentation note: this portfolio story is a proposed direction based on the original woodfill vase project. The new image is an AI-assisted concept visualisation, not a photograph of completed prints. These vessels are presented as dry decoration.
