Quantum Nebula - Character Design & Lore System for DND

Quantum Nebula is not just a character design, but a fully built concept that connects visual identity, storytelling, and worldbuilding into one system.

The project started with the goal of creating a character that feels grounded in a larger universe. Every design decision, from clothing details to symbols and materials, was influenced by the lore behind the character and the environment he comes from. The design was developed across multiple angles to ensure consistency, readability, and a strong silhouette from every perspective.

Beyond the visual design, the character has a complete backstory and narrative foundation. As described in the lore, Quantum Nebula originates from the mystic city of Elaris, a place defined by the balance of nature and magic. His journey is shaped by early mastery of chronomancy, personal loss, and a larger prophecy tied to the Nebula Prism, positioning him as a central figure in a much bigger story .

The project was expanded further into 3D, where the character design was translated into a more realistic form. This allowed testing materials, lighting, and how the design behaves in a more physical and cinematic context. The transition from concept to 3D helped refine proportions, details, and overall presence.

This is a full pipeline project, including concept design, character sheets, lore development, and 3D visualization. The result is not just a standalone design, but a foundation for a larger world, where character, story, and visual direction are all connected.
